My First Crush

Write about your first crush.

I don’t know why, but everything about Charles fascinates me then. He is intelligent, kind, well-coordinated, and taciturn. Though he doesn’t have so many friends, his two younger brothers were his priority, and the way he takes care of them makes me like him the more.

We were both in high school, fifth grade. I always wanted him to speak to me, but he never did, and I don’t know how to talk to him either. I enjoyed watching him, stealing glances unawares, and that was when I knew I liked this boy.

So there was this project we presented to the class together because we found ourselves in the same group. We spent weeks preparing and getting ready for it together most of the time, he was interesting and funny, but I never told him that I like him.
