Love or Money, Which Is More Important in a Relationship?

So many people have aired their views on this topic of love and money which is more important? If you say love is important, can it last without money? And if you say money is important, will it be enough without love? I know what is going on in your mind right now, this is a huge controversy that triggers stress when asked to choose.

The adage states that the love of money is the root of all evil, and I will say that the lack of money is also the root of evil. I don’t think is something you have to choose, you can’t choose between love or money. But if you have to choose, which will it be? Because I believe that love is sweet but when there is money, love is sweetest.

In this twenty-first century, most people go into relationships and marriages because of the material things involved, most women will tell you upfront that they can’t be with someone who does not have money.

But let me ask you a question, if you are going into a relationship with someone just for the money, what if the money is no longer there tomorrow, will you still be in the relationship? Will you still be with the person? But if there is love in your heart, if you love the person for who he is, you will conquer all, money will never be a deterrent to the love you both share

Which is most important, love or money? If you were to choose which one would it be? Do you think a good relationship depends on love or money? I would love your opinion in the comments.

    1. I think you nailed it when you said “love has a better chance with financial stability”

It’s true that money cannot buy love. Money doesn’t solve most problems that marriages face; and sometimes being super wealthy creates problems of its own.
