The Britannica Dictionary defines “artist” as: a person who creates art,a person who is skilled at drawing, painting, etc.,a skilled performer, or. a person who is very good at something.
Original artists are often those who introduce new or unique ideas and styles to the world, changing the art world thereafter. Many art critics would argue that it has become harder and harder to be completely original in our contemporary world.
I don’t really have a favorite artist, because naming just one person is like cheating for me, when it comes to music, I have my favorite artists. I have my favorite artists in painting, in performing arts, and so on.
