Teachers Should Be Given the Best Accolades

Who was your most influential teacher? Why?

All my teachers have positively impacted me in one way or the other, with their unique talent and knowledge. I respect my secondary school teachers, especially those who taught my favorite subjects. English, Literature in English, Government, Food And Nutrition, and Christian Religious Studies.

I fell in love deeply with these subjects because of the teachers, their teaching methods, and the manner they handle the subjects are impeccable. You can see the zeal and passion they have for what they do. For them, I believe it’s just like taking a breath of fresh air because one can see through them that they love and cherish their work.

I blew a big kiss to my English teacher, she ignited my spirit of cautiousness even to little things as a “full stop” at the end of a sentence. I recalled the day we wrote a class test and almost all the class failed woefully not because we got the answers wrong, but because we did not put a full stop at the end of each sentence. That consciousness is still alive in me to date.

I believe teachers should be valued exceedingly because they are the makers of all other professions. They should be given the accolades they deserve.
