Saying “No”

Share a lesson you wish you had learned earlier in life.

Being an adult is the ability to say no without feeling guilty. Not our yes for everything even at our own peril.

But I wish I had known this earlier, that saying No doesn’t make me less of a person. I always had this thought in my head, what will people say, how will they feel, or if I say no, they will despise me… Bla bla blah..

Kindness is a virtue, and it is good to be nice to people, but don’t disgruntle yourself to please others.

Saying something like “I would have loved to accompany you, assist you, fix it for you, etc., but I’m so sorry I can’t at the moment, does not make you a bad person…

What’s your opinion? What lesson do you wish you had learned earlier?
