Life Before The Internet

Do you remember life before the internet?

Everything about life before the internet was real. Music was special, the newspaper was better, and communication was more open and genuine.

Life was more relaxing and less stressful. People go out more often to nature. They go to the park, to the movies, to the libraries, and also spend quality time with friends.

Life was simpler then. Children go outside to play because back then there weren’t as many cars as we have today, so children often played in the street without the fear of being hit by a moving vehicle.

Though life before the Internet was depicted by a slower pace, it was more of a physical interaction and people relied more on traditional methods and themselves for information.

Leaving My Comfort Zone

Describe a risk you took that you do not regret.

When it comes to the risk I took and I do not regret it, it would be leaving my comfort zone.

I told myself that after graduation from the university, that I would leave my family to go get a job and start taking care of myself independently.

Though it wasn’t an easy journey, going to a place where you know no one, searching for a good job seemed like an arduous task which made me almost give up.

But the reason I didn’t give up is because the zeal for what I want keeps me going. Many nights I lay down feeling sad that nothing is moving as I envisaged and the weight so deep in my heart like an encumbrance.

But all this is a story to tell now, and I bless my creator for how far he has brought me because I finally nailed a good job, I am also grateful for friends and family who stood by me and who never gave up on me.

What Most People Don’t understand!!

What’s something most people don’t understand?

Most people don’t understand that life is easy, we are the ones making it difficult.

Most people don’t understand that whatever you do whether good or bad comes back to you.

Most people don’t understand that you are happier when you make others happy.

Most people don’t understand that silence doesn’t mean you are a coward, it means you are the adult.

Most people don’t understand that life is a gossamer.

Most people don’t understand that it’s okay to cry.

Most people don’t understand that you become the change you want to see in the world.

What Makes Me Laugh!

What makes you laugh?

We laugh every day and we laugh all the time, but this is the type of question that is very difficult to answer because the things that trigger laughter are innumerable.

I laugh at the simplest and funniest things, I laugh at jokes, humor, I laugh when my friends decide to be silly on the most unreasonable things.

Sometimes I even find myself laughing about things I don’t understand just because others are laughing, it’s so funny because such laughter is uncontrollable.

Laughter purifies the soul, and laughter lightens the spirit soul body and keeps you rejuvenated and happy. And because happiness is free, I believe we should laugh more often.

What I wish to do more every day

What do you wish you could do more every day?

I wish I could pray more

I wish I could give more

I wish I could listen more

I wish I could understand more

I wish I could love more

I wish I could forgive more

I wish I could read more

I wish I could pay more attention

I wish I could sleep more

I wish I could exercise more

I wish I could touch grass more

I wish I could eat more healthy

The word… I CAN’T

If you could permanently ban a word from general usage, which one would it be? Why?

If I could permanently ban a word from general use it will be the word I CAN’T.

This word has limits so many people from doing a whole lot of things without even trying.

Whenever this word is spoken, it is registered in the brain permanently, and the brain can only work with what is stored.

I CAN’T makes even the simplest things to appear difficult, so I believe we should focus more on the question… HOW CAN I DO IT!!
