Emergency Surgery

Have you ever had surgery? What for?

One late evening many years back, we got a call from my sister’s school that she had been rushed to the hospital because she was very sick, and on getting to the hospital the doctor said she had appendicitis that could rupture in the morning if not removed immediately. It was very critical. The school called because they needed a family member’s approval and signature before the surgery could be done. The authorization and every necessary arrangement were made on the phone so they could save my sister’s life.

I remembered how spooked and worried everyone felt especially my mother who lamented and prayed the surgery would be successful. The next morning as early as 7:00 am, my mother headed to my sister’s school and straight to the hospital, and we received the good news that she was alright and recovering fast.

My Favorite Historican Figure

Who is your favorite historical figure?

My favorite historical figure is Jesus Christ the only son of God who was born by the incarnate of the Blessed Virgin Mary. He was so merciful that he came to earth for our sake, he was crucified, dead, and buried so that we would be saved.

But the most joyous thing is that He arose from the dead on the third day ascended into heaven, and promised to come back again to take us with Him to the glory of His Father.

I Love Me!

What’s your favorite thing about yourself?

My favorite thing about me is that I love myself more, I do what makes me happy, I do not care what people think or say about me, and I do my best every day to be better than I was yesterday for my well-being and others as well.

Spending Time With Family

Describe one of your favorite moments.

Spending time with family will always stand out as one of my favorite moments, especially when we have family meetings and everyone has to speak their minds or address something that is not aligning right with the family. I see this as a moment of reflection, a period of checks and balances, where we point out our family members’ shortcomings and correct them with love.

There are also fun times when we play games and catch up with old times. These moments are always filled with laughter happiness, and joy. The satisfaction I feel will forever remain indelible in my heart.

A Good Life Is What You Make Of It..

What are the most important things needed to live a good life?

Whatever makes you happy

Whatever makes you fulfilled

Whatever makes you confident

Whatever makes you resilient

Whatever makes you ambitious

Whatever makes you so loving and caring

Whatever makes you to be responsible

Whatever brings out the best in you

Whatever brings you closer to God

That is a good life, and you should stick to them…

Just Being Me

Describe one simple thing you do that brings joy to your life.

Just being myself all the time, and not trying to be who am not. Eradicating all negative thoughts trying to see things the way they are, doing my possible best, and leaving the rest.

There are things we don’t have control over, and to keep your mental health stable, all we need is to do only things that rejuvenate our mind, body, and soul. Joy flows within, and you are the only one that can make you happy..
