What brings you peace?
The world is full of ups and downs, and we humans are motivated to put in our best in whatever we do. We have the power to choose our destiny and be whoever er want to be.
But most times, life poses challenges that are out of our control, but that doesn’t mean we are weak or defenseless. The ability to know our strengths and weaknesses should be our utmost priority.
As much as we see ourselves as superhumans, we believe we can do anything, and we aspire to get to any length, we are unstoppable.
You are not powerless when you accept things you can’t change. Do your best and be your best in whatever you do, and when things don’t work out as planned, let it be.
Successful people don’t quit, if it doesn’t work at a time, they look for other means to make it work. If you are tired, rest, reset, and try again.
My inner peace comes from accepting what I can’t change, reading a good book, meditating, and taking a work in nature.

Good observations, but could you clarify why, in one paragraph, you say, “when things don’t work out as planned, let it be,” but then you say, “successful people don’t quit;” when, in fact, it’s sort of important to find a balance?
Lutheran theologist, Reinhold Niebuhr, summed it up nicely for us in his Prayer for Serenity. “God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.”
Is this what you meant when placing those paragraphs so closely together?
While I, myself, do not trust how some literature reads, I certainly agree that our serenity, courage, and wisdom require a balance for the sake of sanity. Do you?
Thank you for your incredible writing that causes one to think.

Thanks, MJ. Yes, I said when things don’t work out as planned, you let it be, not necessarily giving up, but rest, reset, and try again
