Someone In My Family

Describe a family member.

If I were to describe someone in my family I would love to describe my immediate elder brother. He was the nicest person I had known, he didn’t like seeing people miserable around him, with his extroverted spirit and kind heart he loved putting smiles on people’s faces.

There was never a dull moment with him, he was loved by everyone. He is tall, and huge with broad shoulders, and a light complexion. I love it when he laughs because his perfect dentition is a very pleasant sight to behold.

Though my brother had had a series of accidents, he always came through. But this particular day in September 2020 he had a terrible accident and died on the spot before he was rushed to the hospital. It was around 2 a.m. my phone rang, I was curious who could be calling me by this time in the morning when I picked up the call it was my mom telling me my brother was dead and that he had an accident.

It was a day I will never forget in my life, his death had left an indelible mark on my heart already. I miss him dearly, I miss his calls asking me if I’m okay. He will forever remain unparalleled in our hearts.
