What’s a secret skill or ability you have or wish you had?
Something very sad happened to two of my colleagues at work recently and it troubles me a lot because it can happen to anyone.
They were robbed inside the car they boarded, gun to their heads, their phones and valuables were taken from them, and within a twinkle of an eye, all the money in their accounts was gone.
it pains me to my marrow that money that someone has suffered and worked for under the rain and in the sun would just be taken away just like that by some hoodlums.
And that was the reason I said I wish I had the power to detect thieves and people with bad intentions towards others, so that I can take the necessary measures and ensure they are properly dealt with.
I don’t know what this world is turning into. Out of everything you can become, someone will choose to become a thief. You choose to rob people of their labour and sweat and you think your life will ever remain the same.
I feel so sad whenever I hear such thing as robbery, because I can’t begin to imagine the avalanche of pain they will be going through.
Imagine someone saving up money to get something they really wanted, and when they finally do, a hooligan from no where will just rob them of it. Isn’t that like the hardest thing anyone will have to go through. It is so disheartening.
I wish and I wish again that not just we, that we will all have that instincts to always be ahead of those who only want our downfall.
