I have always wanted more. To be more, to give more, to have more, to become more, and to travel more. I always have this big dream that one day just one day I will have to dream no more. Even when my dreams seem elusive, I will keep on dreaming.
I want to be more than who I am currently physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. I want to focus on becoming not the best but a better version of who I am now.
I want to give more, to love more, and to listen more. I want to understand more rather than focusing on being understood. I want to help people in any way I can to make their lives better, I want to be in their shoes and feel their pain as well.
Having more is also not a bad idea because it makes life easier and worth living. I
want to be comfortable, I want to enjoy life to the fullest. I want to love and be loved. I want to feel that joy and peace that emanates when you are with your soulmate. I want a healthy environment and a loving family.
Of course, I want to travel more too. I want to travel for vacations for holidays, for anniversaries, and get-togethers. I want to visit many beautiful countries. I love meeting new people, going to new places, and tasting new delicacies, and these can be feasible only by traveling.
Can you begin to imagine living in a world where there is no free will? A world where the law of human nature is being controlled by a force, where everything you do is predetermined and planned in a manner that only benefits the being.
Everything in life is controlled, you are powerless even down to your thoughts, your aspirations, and your values.
But when I think of all these things, it befuddles me because we don’t know the power we have, or is it the free will we have that often gets to our heads?
People know exactly what they are doing. Their behavior, actions, and motives are already reflected upon whether good or bad before it is carried out.
People know when they choose to be nice or harsh towards you, when they are gentle or wild, when they speak good or ill of you, when they are hostile or hospitable, when they are kind or cruel, when they love or hate you. In a world where we have both the good and the bad, you have the free will to choose whichever path you desire, and any path you choose will automatically change your life.
But don’t forget that however people treat you, you don’t have to make excuses for their behaviors or defend them because they know exactly what they are doing.
When you look at something so sweet, so loving and so promising.
You begin to cherish it, to want it, to nurture it, and claim it as your own.
But as time passes by, it turns sour and the love for it becomes like an encumbrance you have to live with, choking and depressing.
Then you begin to wonder why it becomes so bad. Are good things not meant to last forever? Is nature playing its course? Do things change because they want to?
I have not had a memorable vacation, but it’s something I look forward to.
What I want to do before I leave this earth is to travel around the world because I like new things, visiting new places, meeting new people, trying new foods, and doing things I haven’t done before.
Life is what we make of it, We are always waiting for the right time, always waiting for the right moment, but they never come Why Because we have to make time for what we want and go for it no matter what.
So we should live our lives now that we can because each day that passes will never come back again.
Are there things you try to practice daily to live a more sustainable lifestyle?
Sustainable living is about creating a balance between meeting our needs and preserving our planet. For example, in terms of food, zero-waste living attempts to eliminate food waste by composting or recycling.
The waste that an individual creates is small in proportion to all the waste produced by society. Yet all small contributions, when added up, make a difference. The best way humans can practice sustainability is to reduce, reuse, and recycle.
There is a saying that our environment gives us back what we give to it. If we keep our environment clean, we will be healthy and free from germs. But if we mess up our environment it will decompose and make us sick.
The environment is a give-and-take situation. If we want to live a more sustainable life, we should be willing to keep our environment free of waste and dirt, or anything that will generate germs and make us unhealthy.
What’s the oldest thing you own that you still use daily?
If I should be honest, the oldest thing I own and still use daily should be me, funny right? 😁 why not, because as the day passes by, I grow old.
I use every single thing in me every day, my eyes, my brain, my system, my hands, my legs, my mouth, etc.
When it comes to other things, I don’t think I have anything old because I am not a fan of keeping things that I don’t need, I always give them out so that it will benefit those who need them at the moment.
Everything about life before the internet was real. Music was special, the newspaper was better, and communication was more open and genuine.
Life was more relaxing and less stressful. People go out more often to nature. They go to the park, to the movies, to the libraries, and also spend quality time with friends.
Life was simpler then. Children go outside to play because back then there weren’t as many cars as we have today, so children often played in the street without the fear of being hit by a moving vehicle.
Though life before the Internet was depicted by a slower pace, it was more of a physical interaction and people relied more on traditional methods and themselves for information.
