Being More to Give More: Why Personal Growth Is the Greatest Gift You Can Offer

What’s your biggest dream?

Being more is my goal

Have you ever felt like you wanted to do something but didn’t actually know what it was?

Have you ever felt like you wanted to be more because you wanted to be more?

Have you ever felt like there is more to life than what we actually think it is?

We all have a big dream growing up, and what we actually want to become in life

So when asked this question, “what’s your dream?”

I’ve come to realize that I can only give what I have.

For a long time, I focused so much on showing up for others that I sometimes neglected my own growth.

But life has taught me that the more I invest in becoming a better person—learning, healing, growing, and developing my character—the more I have to offer the people around me.

It goes beyond wanting a particular thing, I want this, or I want that, it is about intentionality, seeing the big picture, and focusing on the future.

Being more isn’t about chasing perfection or proving my worth. It’s about becoming wiser, kinder, stronger, and more intentional every day. As I grow, I find myself encouraging others more, loving better, and making a greater impact in ways I never imagined.

I admire success

I admire greatness

I admire beauty

I admire anything that brings joy, peace, and happiness. Whatever puts a smile on people’s faces, count me in.

So now, I choose to keep growing—not just for myself, but because I want to have more to give. After all, you can’t pour from an empty cup. To give more, you must first become more.

My dream is to keep on going, to keep on moving towards the path that leads to positivity and growth, to keep on being more, because I really want to give more.

  1. Well said. Perhaps the finest dreams are not about having more, but about becoming someone who has more to give.
